HST System

GEALAN has designed a new HST system of sliding doors (based on the S 8000 Q system) with a thickness of 170 mm. Advanced and efficient design techniques regarding technically efficient shapes have been used to create a highly durable synthetic shape. An additional aim was to improve the heat retention properties while optimising economics and functionality.

The system used can produce outstanding results of up to Uf=0.95 W/m2K . Increased leaf stability is provided by specially designed walls within the hardware slot, which is particularly useful in light of ever-increasing weights of glazing. Sliding HST doors are used wherever a spacious effect is required, devoid of artificial barriers. Large glazed surfaces ensure a steady flow of light into the room, and additionally glazing can be fitted directly to the floor, making it nearly invisible.

The PSK Sliding Door System is constructed on the basis of the time-tested GEALAN S 8000 IQ window system. It is a traditional solution for terrace or garden entrances. Sliding door systems allow large glazing to be used, which ensures large amounts of natural light. They are above all a great and common alternative to traditional two-leaf balcony doors, compared with which they do not occupy space otherwise used by light when opened, giving the impression of a lighter area.

 

 

Light PVC Sliding Door System

The PSK Sliding Door System is constructed on the basis of the time-tested GEALAN S 8000 IQ window system. It is a traditional solution for terrace or garden entrances.

Door profile

The GEALAN Door Profile is constructed on the basis of the highly-regarded GEALAN 8000 window system.

Crossbars have been placed in such a way as to ensure the greatest stability. Thanks to their placement in the profile of 74 mm thickness, steel of increased durability (up to 30% greater) can be installed. These factory routed reinforcements allow locks to be fitted quickly. Special links on the threshold allow the frame, entrance door and threshold to be joined into a closed unit.

In order to further stiffen the leaf, the doors are equipped with appropriate corner clamps. The profile itself accepts all commonly available hardware and locks.
